Marcelo Coimbra is Brazilian and has already led and supported many international companies in Brazil as part of his legal practice. He advises a large number of European internet companies and investors on market entry and business activities in Brazil. He is also the authorized representative of a large number of international companies with Brazilian subsidiaries in Brazil.
In the area of business ethics and compliance, Marcelo Coimbra founded the first Brazilian compliance institute, the Instituto de Compliance e Integridade Corporativa, and co-ordinated the Committee on Business Ethics and Social Responsibility of the British Chamber of Commerce (Britcham). He is currently coordinating the Committee for Corporate Governance and Business Ethics of the German-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce. He also coordinated the Corporate Governance Center of Fipecafi-USP, as well as the MBA for Corporate Governance.
From the legal support emerged the claim to be able to serve clients not only legally, but holistically in Brazilian business activities. In order to master this challenge, he founded IL Management in 2015 together with Lukas Rhomberg.
